Why It's Important

• SmartSkids have lower TARE weights, which means less horsepower is required to maintain vehicle speed in start/stop, and non flat highway conditions.
• SmartSkids increase shipping efficiencies. More payload per truck load means fewer trucks and shipments are needed.
• When it is time for disposal, SmartSkids can go directly into the corrugated recycling stream with boxes.
• No heat treatment (HT) is required for SmartSkid vs. wooden pallets. HT requires a great deal of energy to reach needed temperature of 133 degree Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Research is in process as to BTU's required for the estimated 4.5 million wooden pallets treated per year.
